Pages & Sub-Pages
This section has detailed instructions for doing the following operations within 2MExpress.
Section Glossary:
 

Page – A file within 2MExpress that users can place content on. Content is surrounded on pages by the site template.Users may have an unlimited number of pages.

 

Sub-Page – A page that is located on the vertical tree under another page. Although sub-pages allow for the same content as main pages, they are linked to a specific main page. If the main page is deleted, all attached sub-pages are also removed.Users may have an unlimited number of sub-pages.

 

Express Bar – Located on the top of all pages in edit mode, this allows users to navigate throughout 2MExpress.

 

Vertical Tree – Is navigation located on the left side of all pages, both in edit mode and on published sites.

 

Horizontal Navigation – Located on the top of all content areas, both in edit mode and on published sites.

 

Hidden Pages – Pages that are not shown in navigation. Optionally hidden pages may still be searchable by visitors to a published site. This feature may be toggled in the Express Panel.

 

WYSIWYG Editor – An acronym for What You See Is What You Get, this allows users to edit web-documents without knowledge of HTML, or Hyper Text Markup Language.

 

Page ID – A system variable for the page. This is usually not modified.

 

Page Group – An optional designation of a specific group for pages. This is used for advanced templating.
